“Worldwide Architecture” is launching its second survey on young architects across the world. The survey is a biannual publication that selects the best projects realized by young architects around the world. This year Algeria will be included.

[x] PLATITUDES, Various aspects of the two-dimensional representation
PLANS and PLATITUDES is a teaching programme in which the two-dimensional aspect of architecture stands central. Foreign students wonder about the flatness of these, so aptly called, Nether-lands. They look in amazement at the ways those Nether-landers have been defying the various onslaughts of water and wind. A pressing lack of space is another complication, leading to an architecture of constraint.

[x] APPPART, for contemporary art
APPPART has been created by the architect Samia Henni and the artist Pascal Schwaighofer in order to offer a concrete and yet malleable meeting place for young artists and a concerned public in the form of an apartment. A space regularly ready to yield its primal function.
